What brought me here, which roads this time? Left, another left and a right and there goes my dignity again…
It seems every fork brings me to the same place. Whoever wrote that cliche saying about different forks and different strokes for different folks was, yet again, lying.
Its the same scene, no matter who the actors are and how the weather is. Its funny how that works out, huh?

The end is near, I’m lost and you’re not and you’re absolutely perfect.
Apocalypse is coming. I’ve got the means for survival but you have the will.
You’ve got that death stare and I’m too much to handle.
I’m still learning and you know everything there is to know.

Will you come back to rescue me?

Drawn out prose, too much shit to figure out. I’d like to believe everything will work out in the end, fate will take its course and another door will open. Yet every time this happens I can’t help but wonder, look out the window to the birds and the clouds and think away the day.

In all seriousness, John Mayer’s music has been the soundtrack to my entire life since I was in seventh grade. Every song of his I can relate to something going on, and without his music and words, expressing what I really cannot say would have been impossible. It has always been my goal to affect someone in such a way that John Mayer affected me. Call me pathetic, but the genuine love I have for all of his music is what defines a true, wholesome fan. His new album is blowing me away track by track and I couldn’t be happier.

two thousand, four hundred and ninety two miles until I hit the next stepping stone in my life.

I don’t really know what to think-it’s hitting me in stages. A stomach clench, a tight breath, a smile that comes out of absolutely nowhere. I’m 75 percent extremely excited and in the phase of can’tfuckingwait but the rest of me is nervous and terrified and not sure if I’m making the right choice. But, it’s too late to think about all of this now. I’m ready, I’m fucking beyond ready to move on and start over. I’m ready for palm trees and beautiful sunsets and Mesa Community College and not driving to different cities every week because I’m looking to fill this huge hole in my heart. I know I’m going to be lonely, and I know this is not going to be easy, but for once this is a risk I’m willing to take.

See you in a month, Arizona. I sure hope you’re ready for a girl bursting out of her own 5’6” frame, full of ideas and words and looking to change the world. I can’t wait to see you.
